Third Time's a Charm

After 2 previous "visits" to Sea Star at the boat yard in Virginia (January 4th and 22nd, 2020) we decided to brave the cold and set sail for warmer climes.
On Friday, February 21, 2020 in below freezing temperature with a frigid breeze blowing in off the bay and a layer of fresh snow on her deck, Sea Star "splashed" into the Cockrell Creek (Great Wicomico River) on Chesapeake Bay's west coast.  (Reedville, Virginia)
With a new survey on board; fresh anti-fouling on her bottom; propane tanks filled; diesel tank topped up and 3 full jerry jugs on deck; kerosene, gasoline and alcohol (fuel and otherwise) purchased; fresh water tanks and jerry jugs filled; food provisions assessed and re-stocked; inside and out scrubbed; batteries charged; laundry done; canvas on; and solar panel and wind generator up; we determined we were ready to set sail.  Whew!!
