Lovin' the Landscape

As we sail in varying directions along the lake we are constantly awed by the view. 
The Adirondack mountains running along the west shore seem to be in competition with the Green mountains running along the east to see which range can offer a more stunning vista.  From sunrise over the Green mountains to sunset over the Adirondacks the changing light offers continuous spectacular views.
At times, passing clouds will open to reveal emerald patches of colour as the sun reflects off the green carpet of trees below; at others the last pink light of the day appears captured behind the black silhouette of the mountain range.  No matter what the weather may be the view is always changing and always breathtakingly beautiful.
